How it works

  1. Paste the linking-page URLs — the pages your links are on, not your own pages. Up to 1,000 in one run. The bulk URL cleaner removes duplicates and campaign parameters first, so you are not charged twice for one page.
  2. Get one verdict per URL. Indexed, Not indexed, or Error when a check cannot complete — never a guess.
  3. Export it, or keep it. Download CSV or Excel, copy just the not-indexed URLs, or save the list as a project to re-run next month and see what changed.

What it checks, and what it does not

It checks one thing: whether the page carrying your link is in Google's index right now. That is the part you cannot see on someone else's site — Search Console only covers properties you have verified, and site: is not reliable and meets a CAPTCHA long before a real list is done.

It does not check whether your link is still on the page, what the anchor text is, or whether the link carries nofollow or sponsored. An indexed page that no longer links to you is worth nothing, so for links that matter, open the page too. Can I check backlinks on sites I do not own?
Yes. The check asks the public Google index about each URL, so it needs no Search Console access and works on any domain — guest posts, directory listings, profile pages and anything else you did not build yourself.
Does it tell me whether my link is still on the page?
No. It checks whether the page carrying the link is in Google’s index, which is the part you cannot see any other way at scale. Whether your link is still on that page, and whether it carries nofollow or sponsored, needs a look at the page source or a crawler.
How many backlinks can I check at once?
Ten with no account on the free checker. Up to 1,000 per run once you have an account. One credit checks one URL, and new accounts get 50 free credits after verifying their email.
How soon after a link goes live should I check it?
After a few weeks rather than a few days. How fast a page is indexed depends on how often Google visits the site carrying it, not on you — a verdict of Not indexed two days after delivery says very little.
Can I re-check the same list every month?
Yes. Save the list as a project, re-run it or put it on a schedule, and each run is kept so you can see which links dropped out since the last one.
What happens to URLs the check cannot complete?
They are reported as Error rather than guessed at, and on a paid run the credit goes back to your balance.
