Terms of Service
Last updated 29 July 2026
1. What the service does
indexaction checks whether URLs you submit appear in Google's public search index and reports one verdict per URL. It queries the public index through a third-party search data provider. It does not require access to your website, your Google Search Console, or any account of yours.
2. Accuracy and limitations
Index status is determined from what Google returns at the moment of the check. Google may suppress, rank out, or later change results for reasons outside our control, so a verdict is evidence about that moment, not a guarantee about the index.
Where a check cannot be completed, the result is reported as Error rather than as “not indexed”, and the credit for it is refunded. We do not claim, and you should not rely on, 100% accuracy.
3. Credits and payment
- Credits are prepaid. One credit checks one URL unless stated otherwise in the app.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credits are charged when a check starts. Credits for URLs that are never checked — a cancelled or failed run — and for URLs that end in an Error state are refunded to your balance automatically.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money.
- Cryptocurrency payments are final and cannot be reversed. Please check the address and network before sending.
- Card orders are sold by Paddle. Our order process for card payments is conducted by our online reseller Paddle, which is the merchant of record for those orders: Paddle is the seller on the transaction, handles billing enquiries and returns, and your statement will show Paddle rather than indexaction.
- Purchases are final: we refund credits to your balance, not money to your payment method. Because credits do not expire, an unused balance stays available to you indefinitely. Billing mistakes — a double charge, or a payment where the credits never arrived — are refunded in full. The Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out the whole of it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell or redistribute the service as your own without a written agreement;
- use the service to support unlawful activity, or to check URLs whose content is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
- attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit charges, or the free-credit allowance, including by creating multiple accounts for that purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users' data.
We may suspend an account that does any of the above. Where we do, we will tell you why.
5. Your data
The URL lists you submit and the results we produce are stored in your account so you can re-run and compare them. You can delete a project or an individual check at any time. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
6. Availability
The service is provided on an as-is basis without an uptime guarantee. It depends on a third-party search data provider; if that provider is unavailable, checks will fail and the associated credits are refunded.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or lost rankings.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
